GOOD NEIGHBOURS

Asked, is there a need for a 'good neighbour' type scheme in your area,  859 people replied. Although most did not know if there is a need for a scheme, over half (52%) were prepared to help out occasionally. Quite a high number (126 people) were prepared to help as often as once a week. Five added comments that people already help informally, and four mentioned the CARE scheme.  (See Figures 3 and 3a below).
