Lindfield Archive Collection

The Village Archive Collection, established in 1996, is maintained
by Lindfield Parish Council. It aims to provide a local source
of material on the parish of Lindfield that may not otherwise
be generally available. The aim is to create a comprehensive
record of Lindfield that covers aspects of community life,
people and development that maybe of historical or social
interest.
The Archive Collection
The
growing collection with material spanning several centuries,
includes books, documents, directories, articles, press cuttings,
maps, photographs, drawings, video recordings and mixed emphemera.

The Parish Council encourages use of the Archive with access
by appointment. All enquiries should be directed to the Parish
Office.
Acquisitions
The strength of the Archive is very dependent upon public
contribution of any material relating to Lindfield past and
present, people, organisations, events and property which
can either be donated or loaned for copying purposes. Should
