The main responsibilities of this Committee are:

  • To oversee the general running of the Parish Council office and the maintenance of the Council’s financial records.
  • To prepare the accounts of the Council and arrange for their annual external audit.
  • To co-ordinate the preparation of the annual budget and recommend to Council the annual precept to be levied for the Parish.
  • To consider grant and donation requests.
  • To oversee the production of the Lindfield Village Directory and Year book.
  • To keep abreast of new legislation.
  • To deal with any matters of policy that do not fall within the remit of any other Committee.

    This Committee will also be responsible for progressing Lindfield Parish Council’s bid to attain Quality Status.
