To examine and make recommendation to the Council on
all major, or potentially controversial, planning applications
and on the Local Plan and the Structure Plan.
To examine and deal with on behalf of the Council, all
minor and non controversial planning applications and tree
preservation order matters.
To examine and make recommendations to the Council on
all traffic issues and new highway facilities relating to
the Parish which are the responsibility of West Sussex County
Council.
This Committee is currently considering whether a further
Traffic Study should be undertaken in Lindfield, following
on from the traffic calming measures introduced a few
years ago.
